I really thought quicksand was a major world problem growing up

I remember it in The Princess Bride (RIP) and The Never Ending Story. What other movies and shows am I forgetting?

Blazing Saddles and Krull stand out in my mind. But those are just a gnat fart in a hurricane of quicksand references.

Nearly 50 and this is the first news story I’ve heard about quicksand in my life. As a kid, scooby doo really made me think I’d be hearing a lot more about this dangerous scourge.

Big quicksand really has a top notch media wing, they really keep a lid on the danger…
