A female police officer who groped two colleagues at a drunken party has been sacked.

PC Pamela Pritchard, 29, thrust her hand into a male colleague's groin twice and later sat on his knee and kissed him, after drinking at a leaving do at Caernarfon Rugby Club, Gwynedd, in March 2024.

The North Wales Police officer also grabbed a female colleague's breasts after "twerking" on the dance floor, and later tried to kiss a senior colleague.

The panel at a misconduct hearing in Colwyn Bay, Conwy, found all the allegations against her were proven and that she had breached the force's standards of behaviour.

Ah but you see, making a cop uncomfortable is one of the very most illegal things.

They were probably dressed like strippers

That’s quite literally copping a feel.

I was like 17, my teacher was 50 something and had kids who were older than me. Nobody believes a male victim of a female. Really sucks.

If you can’t party at a work party then don’t call it a party

"Sacked" means fired in this case, right? Only asking because it seems like it could easily mean something else given the details.

[–] EtherWhack@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago

drinking at a leaving do

Us Americans should adopt this terminology.

[–] shane@feddit.nl 2 points 2 days ago

You Americans can do whatever you want. 😉

THIS is what cops get punished for?

[–] Karjalan@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Only if they're female. If a male cop did it he'd get promoted

[–] answersplease77@lemmy.world 0 points 2 days ago (2 children)

who made the complaint? is the head cheif who fired her a woman? was the guy who was harassed gay?

[–] humorlessrepost@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Not every straight man is as desperate as you, so being a straight man shouldn’t be an automatic assumption of consent.

[–] RagingRobot@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

If someone doesn't want something to happen to them that should be enough right? This makes me concerned that you don't understand consent
