Sucking up resources and not actually shooting and teargassing innocent people? These are the least-awful people there!
That would honestly be the best thing you could do, is get hired at one of these really expensive positions, then just do nothing. So you're draining resources from those that could do real damage, and directly taking the place from someone who could do worse.
I genuinely hope that there's a movement among vets to just this. What a good way to get something back from the gov for the trauma they put them through while protecting their fellow Americans. Just be a wrench in the gears of the immigrant crushing machine.

As a legal green card holder this just worries me, they need numbers and we are just an easy target, I didn’t do anything wrong but maybe they find an excuse anyway. It’s really scary.
I can see how that's so stressful. I don't want to dox myself but I was also potentially a target of this admin in some other way (there are many groups who are being targeted for all kinds of reasons), and the constant uncertainty is a real killer.
I just want to make sure that you are connected with your local community.

I mean, you heard my wife say I was a sexual matador. We worked very hard to come up with that line. It took us all night to think of something that so perfectly conveyed brute strength and masculinity as theatre performed for an audience and the illusion of control.

My hope is that we win this passive aggressive, very poorly planned and executed war that's going exactly like you would expect it to go. Lots of harm to innocent people who don't deserve it, while the least deserving men hoard their profits and scream orders at their army to work harder and do the things they can't do on their own.
I hope due process survives, and the men who are shrieking these orders will be given a fair trial at home and abroad, despite refusing that right to others. I also hope they spend the rest of their miserable lives behind bars, and working off their debt to society in (unfortunately) more humane conditions than they deem fit for the innocent individuals they're kidnapping and detaining.
However, if we lose the war, at least we know there will be no due process for the men that helped destroy it. I think it's becoming pretty clear, that either way, we can probably look forward to the day their own army finally turns on Stephen Miller, and treats him to a good old fashioned Mussolini.*
