But rather than comply with the requirement, Apple is apparently disabling the feature entirely for EU users.

Harassing the users because they don't like the rulemakers.

It's like beating up the children because you can't stand the parents.

People are pretending that an api means every device will gets access automatically. How about the phone asks the user for permission?
