Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). She must be so pissed, gonna make him sleep on the bed

[–] miraclerandy@lemmy.world 37 points 21 hours ago

This took me a second but got a good chuckle. Thank you

[–] faintwhenfree@lemmus.org 23 points 21 hours ago

Good joke. Everybody laugh.

Seriously gave me a good chuckle after days.

“But I finally got the cushion stretched out just the way I like it!!!”

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 150 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

This woman chose to marry this sad excuse for a human being. She deserves no pity.

[–] Salamanderwizard@lemmy.world 57 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

I wonder how she can sleep. Like if the order was given to kill any non Christian non white, does she really think Vance wouldn't?

[–] nondescripthandle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 38 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Money makes a comfy pillow.

[–] alaphic@lemmy.world 31 points 21 hours ago

Also, we know she has the bed to herself a majority of the time, what with him sleeping ~~with~~ on the couch so much...

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 5 points 8 hours ago

She is a beard and is probably being paid very handsomely.

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 55 points 22 hours ago (2 children)

I would prefer to be led by adults

Than by children with an Invisible Friend in the Sky

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 7 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

Hey leave the children out of this, plenty of them are smart enough that they figure it out on their own.

I think some people are forgetting something.

She's a woman. She's not white. Her religion is basically meaningless to these creatures.

This is part of the show. She is less than Vance to MAGA. Because she is a woman, and not white, the ultimate proof of her subservience to Vance is if she ALSO converts officially to (whatever faith he calls himself 🤮).

This is to show MAGAts that they can claim non-white women as their own property and make them do what they want. From what I understand from my Hispanic friends is that this is already underway with ICE kidnappings. Women, in particular, are separated. I can't speak Spanish, so I can't actually verify the translation.

The suspicion is that the "white replacement fear" is being fought by sterilizing the kidnapped women, or forcing them to bear white children (the traditional Nazi way too! Rape.) . The men are incarcerated, deported, or otherwise removed.

I can verify that publicly posting ICE locations on Facebook or mentioning antifacism will get your account banned and related accounts flagged as "suspected to have links to a known terrorist organization."

It should be fairly obvious that while it might be non-white women today, tomorrow it will be white women.

Of course any white man like me that speaks of the horrors and continues to dissent will undoubtedly be targeted. There is ONE single weapon that is effective in the war on fascism. Knowledge.

[–] Randomgal@lemmy.ca 18 points 18 hours ago (3 children)

The weapons to fight fascism are weapons.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 4 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

And how do you expect people to fight back if they don't know how to.

[–] Randomgal@lemmy.ca 8 points 18 hours ago (2 children)

With guns. I literally just said it wtf.

This machine kills fascists.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 2 points 10 hours ago

While true theres a reason most war gods have knowledge connotations or are also gods of knowledge. Warfare without intellect or wisdom is doomed to fail. Which is more effective throwing ten guys against a thousand or whittling that thousand down through attrition tactics until they break.

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 3 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

White christians have been sterilizing brown people for hundreds of years.

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 2 points 12 hours ago

That's why it's not hard to believe in the slightest.

[–] WindyRebel@lemmy.world 2 points 7 hours ago

I still use Facebook and pretty much only post anti fascist takes to purposely fight against friends and family members posting hateful shit. I chose to stay on as a voice against.

I haven’t been banned yet.

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 27 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Maybe if James converted to Hindu he'd be less of a dickhead.

[–] Akasazh@feddit.nl 4 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

He'd have to face karma, though.

Well if she does she'd probably be better at any religion than her husband who converted to catholicism then insisted on picking fights with a dying pope, killing him.

[–] fluxion@lemmy.world 23 points 16 hours ago

This guy sure knows how to keep a family happy

[–] BeN9o@lemmy.world 22 points 10 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago) (2 children)

Hang on, another Charlie kirk event??

[–] Zedstrian@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 7 hours ago

A rotting corpse would be fitting for a MAGA event.

[–] HobbitFoot@thelemmy.club 3 points 2 hours ago

Of course. Got to beat that horse to death.

[–] alaphic@lemmy.world 18 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Jesus christ, how much therapy are these kids gonna need? They've already had to watch their father apologize to fucking white supremacists for his wife not being white during the campaign, if they haven't already I'm sure they're destined to hear incessantly about him fucking couches, this shit now, and I'm sure somewhere around 500k other things I've already forgotten about by now

Fucken wild, I say some shit like that my nuts would be in a vice in 0.4 seconds flat. These dudes all need nose punches and partners who are willing to really grip those nuts.

[–] alaphic@lemmy.world 11 points 21 hours ago

I saw a meme once that put it better than I ever could:

Some people just need a high five. In the face. With a chair.

[–] quick_snail@feddit.nl 13 points 5 hours ago

Don't worry bro, there's plenty of Hindu fascists too

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 8 points 21 hours ago

God, what an asshole.

[–] tornavish@lemmy.cafe 8 points 21 hours ago
[–] fittedsyllabi@lemmy.world 8 points 9 hours ago

Ah, so he referred to it like it’s some kind of gang, right? White power?

[–] HugeNerd@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

How'd this freak score a looker like Usha anyway?

[–] MBech@feddit.dk 3 points 1 hour ago

Because she's a terrible person.

[–] etherphon@midwest.social 3 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

What a performative asshole, he's about as Christian as Charlie Manson.

[–] 1985MustangCobra@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 hour ago

you mean MK ULTRA subject charile manson

[–] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works 1 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago) (2 children)

So people want him to (1) believe that the Catholic faith is essential for eternal salvation but also (2) not care whether or not his wife is Catholic? That wouldn't make any sense. Of course any Catholic who cares about his loved ones is going to hope that they convert to Catholicism.

[–] Zaktor@sopuli.xyz 20 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago) (3 children)

No one thinks he believes #1. Like most Republicans, he's very obviously not a true believer or he'd be acting differently regarding doing good for people, not just waving the Bible around when he does evil. Two actual Popes have said what he's involved in is wrong.

[–] nymnympseudonym@piefed.social 12 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Au contraire

These people believe

They have faith

Which means their critical thinking skills are underdeveloped and they will believe any fucking thing their in-group believes

As a wise man once said, "By their fruits shall you know them."

[–] TheRealKuni@piefed.social 2 points 14 hours ago

Hence “join Christianity” instead of “convert.” It’s about being in the right club to these people.

[–] CXORA@aussie.zone 15 points 21 hours ago (1 children)

Marrying someone in the hopes that you will convert them is a dick move.

[–] ArbitraryValue@sh.itjust.works 2 points 16 hours ago (3 children)

He married her and he wants her to convert, but there's no reason to think that he married her for the purpose of converting her.
