I think the title change is to prevent people trivializing what a leader says based on the size of the country.

Colombia is not a tiny country tho, I bet is not smaller than the major European countries
True, but only if you exclude Russia. About 3.9 million square kilometers of Russia lies on the European continent. Columbia is 1.1 million km^2^. The next largest country in Europe is Ukraine at .6 million km^2^ then France at .5 million km^2^. Columbia is by no means a tiny country. According to this Wikipedia page, it ranks 25th largest in the world in terms of surface area.
