That's going to entirely depend upon who they're speaking with, and why. It will also change depending on where they live, there are lots of regional specific names for these. Pum-pum for example in Jamaica.

If something is more focused on something being wrong like an infection or period, they may use more medical terms like Vagina, Labia, Clitoris, etc.

If they're talking over drinks in a bar with their friends about what they did last night with some guy/girl, they're more likely to use the more common "crude" slang terms like Pussy.

If they're talking to some casual acquaintances and it happens to come up, they would use more indirect slang like "Bits", "Lady Parts", "Va-jay-jay" or similar.

For those of you old enough to get the reference:

Sadly, most men and women tend to say โ€œvaginaโ€ when they really mean vulva - the visible genitalia. The vagina is the internal pathway from the vaginal opening to the cervix. Most people donโ€™t have reason to discuss the vagina itself outside a gynaecological or pre-natal setting.

That comment needs a top hat and a monocle.

When people are talking about sex or fucking they mean vagina. We're not talking about appearences, altho obviously if someone says they got their pussy waxed they are obviously referring to the external rather than internal

Neighbour friend was having her women friends over for what she called a taco party.

Thats different, like, its a name of an event. I mean like casually in passing how most females term it usually in convo

Woud they actualy say "my taco" normally? Probably not

[โ€“] original_reader@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Who starts talking about their genitals "casually in passing"?

[โ€“] angrystego@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Close female friends among themselves? It's not so unusual.

[โ€“] bjoern_tantau@swg-empire.de 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

๐ŸŽถ It's not unusual to say cunt to anyone

[โ€“] cheese_greater@lemmy.world -1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Does any chick actually say my cunt in reference to that? Seems unlikely or ridiculous

[โ€“] BCsven@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Common in UK to say th word cunt, but it would be fanny for the genitals, because cunt is usually used to describe a dude being an asshole, or dufus.

Ya like its primarily non-anatomical

Both genders donโ€™t use the proper anatomical terms at all. Vagina: This is the internal canal that leads from the cervix to the outside of the body. Itโ€™s involved in sexual intercourse, childbirth, and the menstrual cycle. It is not visible from the outside. Vulva: This term refers to the external part of the female genitalia. It includes the labia majora and labia minora (the outer and inner lips), the clitoris, the urethral opening, and the vaginal opening. The vulva is what most people are actually referring to when they say "vagina."

This song from 14 years ago offers a fantastic list of euphemism.
