Kash Patel is mad because Kash Patel fired all of the competent FBI agents.

If you had told me in 2005 that events in the future would make me start looking at rank and file FBI agents as "the good guys" to a certain extent in American politics, I would think you were out of your goddamned mind.

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 12 points 3 days ago

If you think they're "good guys" or "bad guys" you're equally wrong...

They're low level government employees and have about as much variation as any other workforce.

Don't be lazy, shit matters these days.

“Who keeps putting these stupid notes in all my shit?”

  • Kash Patel, on Kash Patel

In every single image of Kash Patel, he looks like he's just been caught red-handed doing something bad.

He always looks like the police just got called to his friends bucks party and his bag of coke is sitting out on the hallway table

He looks like he's high on stimulants all the time.

In the Thursday meeting, Patel was furious that it had taken 12 hours for him to see a photograph of the suspected killer, and blamed agents in Salt Lake City (where he had fired the head of the FBI field office for unclear reasons just weeks earlier). He also berated subordinates he said hadn’t provided him timely information.

Who would have guessed gutting the FBI would hamper the effectiveness of the FBI?!

When they fired all the agents who were tracking down J6 rioters, they fired all the comptent people at the department... What they hell did they expect was going to happen. Plus, now that the feds have changed how they hire and fire people, noone capable of doing that job well will be applying.

FBI Director Kash Patel unleashed a profanity-laced tirade on federal agents, as he cracked under the pressure of finding Charlie Kirk’s killer.

He cracked under the pressure of finding one gunman who shot one person? Well, thank god the FBI doesn't have to handle big, complex, stressful cases like the 9/11 hijackers or the Unabomber or anything like that ...

Turns out when you fire everyone who isn't a MAGA lover, you're left with the dumbest, most incompetent agents

I think the real reason they were hired was to give them something to do other than ask for the Epstein files all day on their podcasts. Kash Patel and Dan Bongino were both very outspoken about wanting the Epstein files released before they were given jobs leading the FBI. Honestly letting themselves show their incompetence to the world with this case may have been part of the plan all along. Make them look like the fools they are, and people will stop believing them when they inevitably decide they want to talk about Epstein again.

I wonder how much ketamine he’s been doing?

[–] elbucho@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago (1 children)

How recently was he hanging out with Elon Musk?

[–] gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works -4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

You know musk isn’t the patron saint of ketamine, right? He just does way too much of it.

I was using some facsimile of "comedic effect" in an attempt to make a joke.

Someone needs to pluck the hair between his eyes so he stops staring at it.

I have one silver one that grows right between my eyes. I tell people "I'm a unicorn, I'm fucking magical! ".
