Disinformation coming from the Federal government mind you.
Remind me again who originally stated there were engraved bullets with trans and anti-fascist rhetoric again?

Alt Right Podcaster, Stephen Crowder, who is being summoned by the ATF presumably to explain why he claimed they said that shit. The WSJ just ran with it because they're not a reliable news org.
The email that is claimed to have come from the ATF and the WSJ claims that they had information directly from a law enforcement source, not Crowder, and officials never denied that that it came from the agency but sure did state officially that information might be "misinterpreted".
They are apparently talking about the engravings in the news conference. I am not watching but following the NYT feed.
There were engravings on unfired ammunition left with the gun that officials believe was used in the shooting, Gov. Spencer Cox of Utah says in a news conference. One of them read, “Hey fascist! Catch!” the governor said, adding that another read, “If you read this, you are gay LMAO,” an acronym for “laughing my ass off.”
One of the suspect’s unfired casings was adorned with the words “Bella ciao,” said Gov. Spencer Cox of Utah. That’s an apparent reference to an Italian song adopted by the anti-fascist resistance during World War II. It is still sung by the Italian left to commemorate the end of fascism.
So, lots of anti-fascist stuff, but no "trans" stuff unless "U R Gay" is now trans rhetoric.
The best disinformation has an element of truth in it, so that people can point to that and say "it's true" and ignore the parts that are false, but bolster the narrative.
Edited to add:
The list of messages on the suspect’s casings, as described by Gov. Spencer Cox of Utah, include apparent references to online culture and gaming. “Up arrow, right arrow, and three down arrow symbols,” as described by Cox, may be a reference a sequence of moves on a controller that release a bomb in the video game “Helldivers.” Another engraving, “Notices bulges OWO what’s this?” is a phrase used for trolling in online roleplay communities
In this case you may be right, I'd like to see and have independent verification of the evidence but honestly, leaking that half-baked, unbaked, unverified information when you have a admitted partisan in charge of the three letter agencies, well sorry but I'm going to be skeptical that this was done in any kind of good faith.
And also, well fuck me, given RFK's little rant about how video games causes mass shootings just this week, we're going to be in for a nice treat soon from the department of god damn brain worms.
There is speculation now online that the "transgender etchings" were just normal ammunition markings that someone conveniently misinterpreted as a trans symbol....
If true, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms everyone!
Ofcourse throwing U R Gay at a magat is one of the most hideous insults they can think of and from there they must declare you the most evil monster they can imagine...a transsexual.
Oddly enough its not a repeat offender pedophile or mass shooter what comes into their minds first.
"I think Charlie said it best that when things get bad, we should put our phones down and spend a little time with our families."
A. How else am I going to read about it?
B. If you're quoting Charlie, I'm probably going to do the opposite.
I'm going to guess that Charlie's mind didn't change in that college campus debate.
It did. It changed from solid to liquid
His mind stayed relatively intact. Just that his blood suddenly teleported a foot to the left.
Calm down guys, he was one of us. Put your pitchforks away. We will let you know next time if the killer is a scary mooslim or a gay.
