Relax, it’s just a stroke, guy

"Doc says I can rub one out whenever I want!"

"No, Donald, he said you could have a stroke at any time"

[–] MrWafflesNBacon@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Just another Thursday Stroke, don't mind him! 👍

[–] Rothe@piefed.social 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

"Just a series of mini-strokes"

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

It won't negatively affect his cognitive functions. Those are long gone.

[–] opus86@lemmy.today 145 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Strokes took out both my parents. Come on stroke, you owe me. I'll undoubtedly go out the same way.

[–] hddsx@lemmy.ca 32 points 1 day ago

How did you manage hilarious and alarming in the same post lmao

[–] just_another_person@lemmy.world 91 points 1 day ago (7 children)

High volume activity and movement after a stroke pretty much guarantees a secondary event. Just saying.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 39 points 1 day ago

If you're going to get 3 billion people's hopes up, you better be fucking right

[–] Clent@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 1 day ago

Don't tease me.

I read the headline earlier, with no picture, and thought yeah he always looks like a bloated orange monster that tracks.

Actually seeing the pictures all I can think of is the training I did on FAST, literally the F is for face drooping, that old mother fucker is having a god damned stroke...

[–] Rothe@piefed.social 38 points 1 day ago

It is even clearer in the video footage. A single picture could just be him grimacing in a single frame, but the video makes it clear that the droopy face is his actual resting face, which it wasn't before.

The hamberders are finally catching up to him.

TIA in progress.

The acronym FAST is good to know:

One last thing. It's ted-ed but here's a brain researcher who experienced and analyzed a stroke as one happened:

Cw if you need: she displays and handles a real human brain and spinal cord

Maybe Kirk was one of his horcruxes

[–] aeternum@lemmy.blahaj.zone 43 points 1 day ago

Fuck, I hope he had a stroke. I hope he's in a lot of pain too. Fucking arsehole cunt.

Hey! .... maybe the stroke might just mellow him out and he might not act so strange or say such terrible things

[–] halcyoncmdr@lemmy.world 54 points 1 day ago (15 children)

Evidence shows brain damage tends to make people even LESS empathetic and thus MORE fascist.

[–] ohellidk@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 day ago

As rare as that possibility might be, that'd be really cool to see/hear!

[–] Chivera@lemmy.world 24 points 23 hours ago

Imagine if he died before Biden

[–] STUNT_GRANNY@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Man, it's annoying seeing a headline starting with "Trump, 79" that doesn't end with "dead".

Doubt he lives to the midterms.

[–] selkiesidhe@sh.itjust.works 16 points 1 day ago

I hope he sees all these types of posts where people are actively HOPING he had a stroke.

😊

That's not so much a "call out" as a "hey, I think the president just had a stroke."

[–] BetaBlake@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago (2 children)

C'mon man, just lay down and go off into that great night. You'll be at peace

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Well, if there is an afterlife, and any belief systems about it are true, he'll be burning eternally and providing an eternal source of entertainment for devils, or getting reincarnated thousands of times as a cockroach that gets stomped on every time.

[–] aeternum@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 1 day ago

it always amazes me. The republicans claim that they're sooooo christian, but they treat everyone except their inner circle like fucking shit. They claim they are just following the teachings of jesus, but jesus preached looking after each other and caring for others.

We always have a bottle of Pinot Grigio sitting around so we can spontaneously celebrate.

If this mf dies, we need more wine.

Literally every 79 year old has already had a small stroke of some kind. TIA they are called. He’s on soooo many meds. Shits his pants daily.

[–] W3dd1e@lemmy.zip 4 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

I thought that video they put out with him speaking about Kirk was so weird and somehow wrong. Like AI or edited footage. I assumed it was because the man can’t string together coherent sentences but now I wonder if it could have been health related.
