It's pretty at this point he does. At one point I was very confused by the "emptying out mental asylums" talk, but after hearing him say something along the lines of "And you have the immigrants coming here from asylums, they're literally sending us insane people", it's pretty clear at this point he absolutely thinks "asylum" means "mental institution".
He doesn't think. He just blithers and emits brain farts.
He really is that stupid, so it's certainly a possibility.

I worry that he's just the worst president in US history so far. When somebody eventually takes the title from him, they're going to have to invent whole new categories of heinous, unpresidential shit to do. It'll take a real trailblazer.

Just wait for President Vance. While he won't have Trump's cult appeal, he'll be a good little soldier who will do exactly what his Project 2025 handlers and Peter Thiel want him to do. Trump is pushing America in the direction that fascists want it to go, but he's also thrashing around like a toddler and slowing the process down. Vance will be laser focused on the fascist handbook. I suspect that the House, Senate, and SCOTUS will still pave the way for him too. They've come too far on the path to turn aside now. The vast majority of them are not going to stand against the wind even without Trump's MAGAts lurking behind them with guns, knives, and nooses.
Vance will not end with supreme leader, he will be pushed aside by the base for a different asshole.

Putin gets to keep Edward Snowden but Trump can't hang on to some draft dodgers?
What is this? A Mortal Kombat fatality? That's usually what I think of when a man reaches in to another man and pulls out his spine.
Trump doesn't want to trade anything for Edward Snowden, because Snowden doesn't pose any kind of future threat to Trump's regime. Nobody's cared about Edward Snowden in nearly a decade.
These dissidents are actively proselytizing against Putin's regime, so he's eager to have them publicly humiliated and then squelched.
"Little Big" in shambles. They made an anti-war song and fled to US.
That sucks. I like Little Big.

I'm expecting an executive order to take down the Statue of Liberty any day now.
So shocked it hasn't been painted gold yet to serve as a beacon to the most winning country ever.
