Assuming we have a non-fascist president after this, they should just retire this award. Whatever meaning it might have had at one time has been rendered a joke at this point (and not just because of Giuliani).

[–] Red0ctober@lemmy.world 87 points 4 days ago (2 children)

It lost all meaning the moment Rush received it. Now, it's just a joke, as you've said

[–] Noturbuddy@lemmy.zip 29 points 4 days ago

Hey Tom Sawyer is a classic masterpiece

[–] LifeInMultipleChoice@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Rush as in the Band? What was it for

[–] madcaesar@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

No Rush as in that fat hateful piece of shit radio host. May he rest in piss.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 14 points 4 days ago

Yeah, Rush got one. It's been forever soiled by that.

[–] s@piefed.world 14 points 4 days ago (1 children)

When we get there, can we introduce a Presidential Medal of Treason to nullify the mis-awarded Freedom ones?

[–] PwnTra1n@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)
[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (1 children)

It should be something high tech and fancy sounding, like semtex or c4.

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Detcord could easily be shortened even more, to decor.

[–] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 13 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Or officially attach the name of the awarding president to each award, to disambiguate its value.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 12 points 4 days ago

Or just revoke the ones done by Taco, since he's a felon.

[–] tidderuuf@lemmy.world 63 points 4 days ago (1 children)

"He survived a car crash, someone give him a medal!" -Trump could be heard as he was sitting on the toilet.

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 30 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

He's also into underage girls. Maybe that's the real reason, for Epstein's best friend Trump.

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 41 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Let THAT be a Lesson to ANYONE who's Wanting to have SEX with someone they Think is a Child!

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I think Roodles should lay down on a bed and adjust his zipper or whatever he claims he was doing while he gets the award.

[–] hemmes@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago
[–] PattyMcB@lemmy.world 31 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Of course. Giuliani is in the pedo club. There's no such thing as bad press.

Fuck all of these degenerates

[–] synae@lemmy.sdf.org 7 points 4 days ago

Giuliani is in the pedo club

Hey I saw that movie!

[–] DaddleDew@lemmy.world 27 points 4 days ago

So the "medal of freedom" is a badge of shame. Got it.

The name is unbelievably cringe anyway.

[–] LoafedBurrito@lemmy.world 26 points 4 days ago

Criminals loves things with freedom in the title.

[–] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 25 points 4 days ago (1 children)

A medal for getting plowed from behind? I can think of a lot more deserving people with that qualification.

[–] glitch1985@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

It would cost a fortune to give one to every American.

He looks surprised that he’s still alive in every picture.

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 19 points 3 days ago (1 children)
[–] tauisgod@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

The medal doesn't mean shit any more. Not after he gave one to that AM radio shit bird that spent his entire career giving his listeners lobotomies and anger herpes.

[–] very_well_lost@lemmy.world 17 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Maybe he can sell it to pay down some of his massive, massive debts.

[–] Blackfeathr@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago

And maybe some left over for that ceiling stain remover on his wishlist.

[–] Archangel1313@lemmy.ca 15 points 4 days ago
[–] salacious_coaster@infosec.pub 14 points 4 days ago

I was expecting the next one to go to the Late, Great Hannibal Lecter

[–] sturmblast@lemmy.world 13 points 3 days ago

They are both traitors.

[–] TigerAce@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Medal of freedom to do whatever you want with underage girls without consequences.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 4 points 3 days ago

"she is too old for you!"

This shit is on tape, that was played in theaters, world wide.

Every single conservative, Republican, Gop, what the fuck label they choose is a pedo. Even my family members. Lost half of my family cause of the maga mind virus.

[–] Carvex@lemmy.world 10 points 4 days ago

Is he going to award a medal to Arnold Palmers cock next?

I bet Rudy would rather just be paid.

[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 9 points 4 days ago

How long before the ghoul puts it up for sale on Facebook marketplace?

[–] krunklom@lemmy.zip 8 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (2 children)

Verbatim the quote is: "ermerwardingrerdugerlianerthrprrsidenchelmerlerfreerdommmmm" followed by the sound of a senile piece of shit defecating in a diaper.

[–] PyroNeurosis@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Defecating.

Unless he was rebelling. Not really his style, though...

[–] krunklom@lemmy.zip 3 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Fucking autocorrect. Fixed

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

I dunno, I wouldn't be surprised if things started to turn for him that he would load af1 with top secret documents and take off to Russia.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 1 points 3 days ago

Good damnit Rod Stewart!

[–] rayyy@piefed.social 8 points 4 days ago

The weak, old, confused, incompetent orange rapist, felon, pedophile, liar is elevating all likenesses of himself to positions of power and fame.

[–] trougnouf@lemmy.world 7 points 4 days ago (1 children)
[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

He got rear-ended over the weekend? That's probably why this is happening, since Taco likely forgot all about him until then.

[–] trougnouf@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago

I meant Trump also

[–] Bustedknuckles@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Sure, why not

[–] don@lemmy.ca 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Well if the medal had any meaning before, it’s sure shit now.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Post-Rush, no, it has very little meaning. Also, anything associated with Taco turns to shit.

If there is some way we can revoke things he did, any honors he doled out inappropriately should just be rolled back later. That's assuming we still have a country after this dickhead is gone.

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 1 points 3 days ago

Someone with the username charlesdarwin should know the answer to that.

[–] chocrates@piefed.world 2 points 4 days ago

Was Guliani rear-ended talking to a hooker?
