like i’m sure it’s mostly non americans who keep repeating this ad nauseum but people keep saying people are gonna have to “stop being comfortable” for anything to happen, and this really pisses me off because most americans live paycheck to paycheck and have their health insurance tied to their jobs. i say this as someone who’s unemployed and currently overdrafted by 100 bucks too. using the word comfortable specifically makes it feel extremely judgmental, like im sorry guys but being assholes to other people about them physically not being able to protest is not productive. we should be focusing on ways people who can’t attend protests or go on general strikes can help out, not being all snarky and funny about people worse off than us
