1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them

4) NSFW is okay, within reason

NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or would like to report a community, please direct them to Lemmy.world Support or email info@lemmy.world. For other questions check our partnered communities list, or use the search function.
6) No US Politics.

No love for Summit here? I've tried almost every android app and ended up with this one. Very smooth UI and full of features.
I swapped from Sync to Summit and have been loving it. The dev's super responsive too, which is a big plus.
Plus Summit works with piefed
I came here to say this too, I use voyager but just recently I learned about summit which has fully community moderation abilities
+1 for Voyager. It's my first and so far only client that I've used, having been on infinity for reddit before switching.
I like it. it's smooth, works well, and has fairly granular settings for how to handle "read" posts, gesture controls within posts / comments, and so on.
Boost
Called "Boost for Lemmy". It's great. All kinds of custom options. Integration with instances are really good.
Try it.... give a dollar... It'll be Ad free.
I used boost for reddit back when that was a thing. The dev got the lemmy up in like a week, very impressive to me. I give $5 every now and then when I feel like it and remember. I'd recommend the app for sure
Only issue is embed videos don't work rn, I'm currently trying out summit and really like it so far, pressing back does reset your feed to the top though, which is annoying
I've used Jerboa for years now, and have the press back twice to exit setting enabled:
My configuration for it is very minimal, to mimic RedReader that I used to use.
Voyager
Connect for lemmy,
Back button asks if you want to exit the app
Looks just like RIF
Seconded
Extremely happy with Voyager.
Connect.
I actually want the opposite of what you want. I am used to Jerboa and Liftoff refreshing the front page if you hit back on the main feed. Connect just asks it you want to close it and I have to manually scroll back up to the top to refresh, and its annoying af when I'm hella far down the page.
Scroll down slightly in the feed, hit the ellipses that appears on top and choose refresh? This is how I do it with Connect.
Connect looks awesome, but I can't for the life of me find a feed for only my subbed communities, Do you know if that is an option?
It's the Frontpage feeding on the sidebar.
Voyager here, can't complain.
You know what's nice, we have sooooo many more options than we deserve. Thanks all you devs!
Reddit has one official one that kinda sucks.
Jerboa
Voyager
Has sync been updated lately? I left sync because the dev fell off the face of the earth or so it seems but I really miss the long hold to view images.
I been using Voyager so have felt the back button pain a lot. I installed Blorp just recently but an update seems to have broke it, it's not working for me today.
I just installed Jerboa, there's no back button.
Thunder
Jerboa gives you a confirmation prompt before exiting, when you press back from the main feed.
Firefox
The less apps I have on my phone the better and I mostly browse Lemmy on desktop anyway.
It’s how crazy a good UI never gets old. I was using Apollo, now Voyager. Holy cow. It’s been so long I feel old.
Eternity. I don't know the last time the dev has updated this shit but it kinda works. I still love the UI
Jerboa, it's got that RIF feel.
Boost works pretty well on my phone.
Eternity was the one I settled on.
Used jerboa, liftoff, thunder and a few other to name a few.
I just use the browser interface
