Why did people vote this guy in again? It can't be because he ran on a campaign of hatred of his citizens
The Democrats wanted to push a right wing cop so they could act like they are 'tough on crime"or some bullshit.
Strong support from black churches in NYC. You know how the religious fall in line when the church tells them to do something?
Adams is trash. No one I know (here in NYC) voted for him or even likes him, but I hang out in pretty left wing circles.
I voted for him, and regret it so much. I was a true dingus. I'm on the Mamdani bandwagon, now.
Can you share what lead you to support Adams, and what changed your mind?
Was new to the city, had a bunch of liberal friends who lived in Harlem that supported him and waxed poetic about his potential. The ex-cop thing was seen as a boon, at that point.
Things started going down hill real fast in my eyes when the whole Turkish airlines scandal broke.
In retrospect I should have listened to my other liberal friends who warned me against him. There's a lot of regret, on my part.
Well, there's no going back and changing the past, so the best you can do is learn. Glad you've come around!
This is why Mamdani I is going to win.

One more example that our "labor" party is anti-labor and pro-business; awful pay and the worst benefits of the first world, even eastern Europe has more benefits.
