Great comic!
I have to recommend a podcast about the original America First movement during the WW2 era called "Ultra". I can't recommend it highly enough. Another lemming told me about it and I ate it up.
It involves an attempted coup, infiltration of Congress by the Nazis and the death of a sitting senator. Honestly you'll enjoy it.
Also often ignored: the cross-pollination between European/German and American ideologies (eugenics etc) that ultimately led to Hitler's regime & WW2.
