The new series doesn't fuck around, does it? I preferred it when he was fighting Daleks.

[–] VerilyFemme@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 3 days ago

[–] cannedtuna@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Yeah I had to reread the headline several times to make heads or tails of it

I bet it was the Tenth Doctor. He always seemed a bit off his rocker to me.

[–] Dasus@lemmy.world 16 points 3 days ago

Nah, calling him a moron is clearly so 12.

That what I read!

he illegally supplied the actor with 20 vials of ketamine totaling 100mg of the drug

100mg in 20 vials would be 5mg each which isn't even a tenth of the threshold dose. If each bottle has 100mg that would make more sense but it would still be quite a low strength and shouldn't have been possible to be dangerous.

I used to sniff 5000mg of ketamine daily. That would be the same as 2000mg if directly injected. The only problems I had were that it was bad for my nose and that I got a lot of bladder infections. Go figure.

I think this is just a big ass drug war campaign.

This, plus Elon's idiotic behavior, has really given ketamine a bad name recently.

I think this is just a big ass drug war campaign.

I think you're probably correct. The only way Perry was able to OD was because he had someone else injecting him with it in the bathtub.

Ketamine is amazingly well tolerated, which is one reason that they give it to infants for surgery. You're going to be incapacitated long before you could ever consume enough on your own to overdose.

He drowned because of the ketamine, cause of death is still ketamine.

[–] x00z@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I also considered this but the articles really try to imply it was purely the ketamine.

[–] Honytawk@feddit.nl 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Maybe he drowned in ketamine? And the 100mg vials were actually 100l vials?

Just huffed it, directly into the lungs maybe

sniff 5000mg of ketamine daily ... same as 2000mg if directly injected

You need to check your math and/or how much of your product was bunk. Or you were a long-term user who built up that unique perma-tolerance.

But yeah, the journalist most likely got the terms wrong. Because no one is producing ampoules with just 5mg ketamin each. It's more likely they were 5mL ampoules with 100mg/mL.

Yes I was a heavy user and did it day in and day out.

5 grams of K a day is heavy as fuck

[–] SlartyBartFast@sh.itjust.works 20 points 3 days ago

Doctor Who supplied Matthew Perry with ketamine, or as we call it, "Sontaran Sugar"

[–] Honytawk@feddit.nl 1 points 2 days ago

Geeze, some people really dislike Friends, don't they?
