We are coming from here.

I'm not gonna lie, guys, neither say the opposite: there are people who play in their phones, I bet you do, so do I. I'm curious to know what do you play in your phones, what kind of "phone gamer" are you. Remember PDAs? The only games that things had were mineswipper, solitaire, chess, sudoku among others. All those are games that perfectly use the touch capabilities of its device, but now, we have more process capacity, and we still have one touch screen (I know, you can touch many points of the screen at the same time). I've always seen the screen of my phone as a one big button, so, I can't play any game that needs more than one touch to be played. I do limit my catalogue of games to those mentioned above, and I really like them. I love sudoku.

What do you play in your phone?

I've got mini metro, something called shapez that I've not played, functional ear trainer which I'm classifying as a game cause it kinda is, and NYT games which is the only one I play regularly.

I used to have a PDA, even back in the late '90s I got as a hand-me-down. I used to play games on that and my first several phones. These days, though, if I'm using my phone it's never for gaming. If I have free time, I'm using a flashcard app to study or watching previously-downloaded youtube vids for downtime. I guess the one exception was when I was doing the prep for a colonoscopy, I fired up ALTTPR on a SNES emulator on tablet to kill time. That's the only time I can think of in the last probably 2 years I've played any games on anything mobile at all.

Mostly emulators and a little chess

I haven't had games on my phone for closer to a decade.

I uninstalled the only one I had because it skirted my ad skirting.

I was playing Jedi Knight up to some time ago, now Eternal Darkness on the emulator (both with a cheap BT controller)

Space Trader and Dope Wars, all the way. Still worth playing today! You can emulate it on Archive.org or there's Android ports for Space Trader. Still a fun game. :D

I used to love those Kairosoft simulator games. They get a little samey after a while but you get the whole game which is cool

Nothing for about the last two years - before that? All sorts of different things. But finally realized pretty much every game was either just trying to get me to cough up more money, was a subpar experience because of interface/hardware limitations, and/or weren't actually fun beyond giving me a brief distraction when I was bored.

If I get to the point where I want a mobile gaming option, I'll just get a Steam Deck. Honestly the less time I spend attached to my phone, the better.

My son and I just started playing COD Mobile again. It’s fun to grind. It’s absolutely a cash grab, but we don’t get involved with that part of it. It’s really the only game that I play these days, as I’m not really a gamer.

He plays a few other games on his phone and Xbox.

Honkai Star Rail. Typical gacha hero collector. The gameplay is fun, the story is engaging, and you don't have to spend any money if you don't want to. I like the option of a phone game during my commute or at night in bed.
