I mean it will stay for as long as the buffoonery that is Trump, MAGA, Republicans and American politics continues.
I hope it continue post trump
It’s going to be decades before anyone forgives Americans for electing that despicable moron.
Trump is a symptom, not the cause. The US will be the same even with Trump gone. This is permanent.
Whenever you buy Canadian made products, you're giving yourself a long term discount you don't see at the register.
It means that many more fellow residents will have a job and aren't taking EI and government services, and are instead raising the overall tax base, making the taxes you pay go even further.
🫡 I’m doing my part
There are many reasons to buy local, especially for canadians.
When it comes to food, you benefit from better practices, for instance. In B.C., even if you aren’t buying organic, most of our producers are using some form of integrated pest management, and are smaller family farms, so you’re getting a cleaner product.
Also, more obviously, we have decent safety standards, and while we also have a big farm worker exploitation problem to solve, there’s some momentum in improving that.
