It’s honestly getting harder not to feel angrier by the day watching the blatant and/or willful ignorance from so many Trump supporters. A lot of them genuinely have no idea what we’re actually fighting for. Even some seemingly well-meaning folks don’t fully get it.

Lately, I’ve seen people mocking the “No Kings” messaging, acting like it’s been made out of nowhere. One comment today said “what’s the next march going to be? “No Dukes? No Queens?” Meanwhile, Trump has literally called himself a king more than once and others in his orbit have done the same. The fact that they don’t even realize that just shows how deep the disconnect is.

It’s frustrating because their ignorance kind of undercuts much we’re trying to stand for, especially in terms of getting those who are on the fence to truly understand. Is there any hope to actually get through to some of them? I try not to let myself become more hateful at the stupidity each day but damn, it’s hard!

They realize it, they're just trying to demean the movement. It isn't working

Willful ignorance is their brand, or as I like to call it, "smarmy asshole". Finding better ways/words to convey our message is where you should direct that anger. Better communication gets results over their gaslighting propaganda.

"ignorance is a bad look on you, feigned or real."
