I think that because we have the same problem in Spain. According to the far-right Spain is worst than Somalia.

If you curious as to why, she brought forward a law designed to hurt transgendered children, to require parental consent for schools to call them anything but their first name. Since she doesn't even go by her first name, some people now refuse to call her by her middle name, which she prefers.
