I called and repeatedly messaged Schumer and Gillibrand. I really hope AOC runs for NY Senator in 2028. In the meantime, we need a new Senate minority leader.

That’s great, but we don’t have three years to save the republic. We have weeks.

The actions that we could take to stop things sooner don’t involve elections. It doesn’t hurt to plan for the future as well.

Get loud in the places they see consistently with directed pressure. Here's what the first two thing we do

Steps for this week

Step 1. Flood the phone

Link to find direct numbers for your senators

Or call the capitol switch board (202) 224-3121

Step 2. Show up in person

There are book tours upcoming this week for Schumer

Mon 3/17 7pm Central Library, Baltimore

Wed 3/19 Politics & Prose, DC

7pm Thursday 3/20 at the Weizman, DC

Sunday 3/23 · 3pm Moss Theatre Santa Monica, CA

Mon 4/21 MJCCA Atlanta

Keep pushing. We won’t win every fight, but we can still win overall in the medium to long term future. We must stand strong

House dems are talking about primarying Schumer. Even some moderate ones. Now is the time to push for leadership change

It's not that some people in positions of power don't understand the danger of Trump et al. That they act to their own benefit and the benefit of the people who are funding them, not for the people or the republic.
