Pretty weak evidence of vote manipulation in my opinion, but if they really think they have something, then why didn't they just do a recount? Both campaigns had more than enough money to ask for a recount, and even offer to lay for it.

My hot take of what might plausibly have happened:

  • Democrats were so preoccupied with countering "stop the steal" propaganda in 2020 that they became overinvested in the idea that the elections were definitely secure, to the point of refusing to entertain any notion of it at all, even credible accusations about the other side doing it.

  • Meanwhile, the reason Republicans went so hard on "stop the steal" in the first place was that they knew damn well it was rigged 'cause they'd done it themselves. They were absolutely gobsmacked that they somehow managed to lose anyway, and figured it must've been because the Democrats cheated even harder. Republicans couldn't possibly be genuinely unpopular so that's the only explanation!

  • Then, in 2024 the Republicans cheated again. (Because why wouldn't they? There was no risk, after all, since the country couldn't be so much as bothered to prosecute Trump for his treasonous coup attempt.) Not only did it work this time, but the Democrats immediately capitulated without even a cursory challenge because by this point the well had been so thoroughly poisoned that their entire political identity was wrapped up in the idea of denying that America's (little-d) democratic institutions and rule of law was failing. Better to preserve the illusion of normalcy with a peaceful transfer of power -- even an unjust one -- and hope the situation might somehow magically get better next time than to actually fight for democracy and bring the issue to a head, was the Democrats' 'logic'.

  • The Democrats will absolutely try to bury and discredit any lingering doubts about the election, regardless of their credibility, because to consider it at this point would be to render useless their previous decision. Moreover, it would expose them not only to bad-faith accusations of hypocrisy and sour grapes by MAGAs, but also much more pointed and earnest accusations from their own side about what they knew, when they knew it, and why they were derelict in their duty to democracy.

To be clear, I'm not necessarily saying I actually believe that this scenario is what happened, only that it's plausible. I haven't watched the video yet, but at this point the only major signs of cheating that I'm so far aware of are a bunch of statistical anomalies. They're certainly suspicious -- and the Democrats' noticeable lack of interest in investigating them is perhaps even more so -- but that's not proof.

the part you missed is:
the republicans used all the data the obtained from the “audit”, and access they gained from infiltrating vote counting positions, and oversight they lost from physically threatening neutral election workers, to steal it.
btw, they were able to obtain the source code of the voting machines in their audit… something necessary to hack the machines….
but, it’s really in the data.
but remember all the “covid is fake! look at my data!” spam? nobody wants to look at the research and data of a conspiracy anymore. they’re burned out.
otherwise, spot on.

Why are we questioning this? He literally said that he did at the inauguration.

Been saying it for months, but been downvoted ever since

Because saying it for months doesn't make it true without hard evidence.

That’s mostly because the evidence is a tall long read and that doesn’t work well in this dopamine world with constant shock.

Conspiracy theories like this don't help. Organize your neighbors

"Did Republicans xyz?"

Uh they may have but not without the help of the planned opposition doing the v v important job of ignoring everything fucked up and going along.
