Collapse, in this context, refers to the significant loss of an established level or complexity towards a much simpler state. It can occur differently within many areas, orderly or chaotically, and be willing or unwilling. It does not necessarily imply human extinction or a singular, global event. Although, the longer the duration, the more it resembles a ‘decline’ instead of collapse.

Like in statistical thermodynamics, the collective choice of an ensemble is not a choice at all. Individually, we do have degrees of freedom. The larger the aggregate, the less degrees of freedom.
they say "crumbling" but i think it's more like a huge super fragile building made of legos being deliberately dismantled one block at a time. people don't pay attention until the floor they're standing on collapses
The republicans could fix this at any time. But will they? Nahhhh.
This is why people have to come up with their own local solutions in their communities instead. Unfortunately, the it also seems that the Democrats aren't really stepping up to the table either. At least, that's how it looks to me from here, your Northern neighbour.
It's illegal to implement solutions, smaller homes, gardens, composting toilets , groups of people living together densely in communitarian situations, chickens , rain water catchment, reed bed sewer systems , earthworks , self installed solar , etc.... almost all those things are illegal in first world countries .
Until people get the collective will to change the law , sustainability wil be something done by outlaws whose lives occasionally get destroyed when the crackdowns happen.
I can 100% say with confidence that the reason you're saying that is because of the national media. It's really hard to find anything without trump in the headline because he gets clicks and other reasons*. There are local fighters, but people won't hear about it.
Also, I'd think the rest of the world would see that he cheated. From his projection of his crimes alone, it's pretty obvious that he did. There's all kinds of shit people bragged about too. Judging by the "Biden was incompetent" headlines, we now know he's losing it. None of this is rocket science.
Then I hope that everyone fights the good fight, because the skinless cantaloupe has major problems and is messing up the world because of his ineptitude. Along with the X-Man reject, Mr. Potato Head.
