Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Every article starts with the Trump administration framing, and only afterward tells you WTF actually happened. I'm so tired of it.

[–] aramova@infosec.pub 23 points 3 weeks ago

Click bait rage inducing bullshit sells, and it's how Trump became a thing.

Him and headline news are perfect for each other

[–] brygphilomena@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 weeks ago

It's straight weaponization of the Justice department.

[–] Glide@lemmy.ca 57 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

The term “eighty-six” is a verb, which the Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines as informally meaning “to refuse to serve” or “to eject or ban” a customer, and “to reject, discontinue, or get rid of” something.

Trump: "He called to have me killed!"

Calm down, snowflake in chief, he said you deserve to be let go. An opinion most of your country agrees with.

[–] billiam0202@lemmy.world 16 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Too bad they didn't share that opinion on 11/5/24.

[–] rc__buggy@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

You really think James Comey voted Trump last November?

[–] billiam0202@lemmy.world 8 points 3 weeks ago

No..?

he said you deserve to be let go. An opinion most of your country agrees with.

Too bad they didn’t share that opinion on 11/5/24.

[–] themeatbridge@lemmy.world 41 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

It took me too long to get it.

86, as used by restaurant staff to mean "get rid of" something.

47 because he's the 47th President.

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 26 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

i'm making it my own personal holiday when that bloated sack of shit con man finally croaks, whatever the cause

[–] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 15 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Won't need to be a personal one, there is enough of us that we can make it an official one. Like 420, we shall celebrate his death with fireworks and drugs.

[–] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 3 weeks ago

Flags at full mast that day

[–] nokturne213@sopuli.xyz 4 points 3 weeks ago

Huh, here I thought it was the combination to his luggage.

[–] Eldritch@lemmy.world 27 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I'd hate to say that Comey ever had a good idea, so I won't. Whoever gave him the idea for this is a genius. They like their 1488. But they'll melt down over this. I'm definitely on board with 8647. Buy whatever means necessary, impeachment etc.

[–] criss_cross@lemmy.world 20 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

How many $86.47 deals are we gonna start seeing now?

[–] Eldritch@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago

I'll say this. Anyone that offers a good value for it will likely have my money. And plenty of impulse buyers as well.

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 weeks ago

i would take out a loan if that's all it would take....

[–] Zerlyna@lemmy.world 26 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)
[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 23 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Oh of course it is. It's only ok if they do it

[–] Skyrmir@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Of course it is, Bezos is selling 8647 merch right now and there's not a peep about it.

[–] nokturne213@sopuli.xyz 12 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

This 8647 alternator may be taking it a bit far though.

[–] Skyrmir@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Holy crap, is that a tariff price or are they WAY too proud?

[–] lennybird@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (1 children)

That is Ford motorcraft... It should be manufactured in America, right...?

... Right..?

Then again I ordered a DENSO (Japanese corporation and main supplier for OEM Toyota parts on their vehicles) part and it was made in China, so...

[–] Zorsith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 3 weeks ago

Ford? Mexico.

Trumpy I got your number

8647309

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago
[–] JasonDJ@lemmy.zip 15 points 3 weeks ago

It's 8647, snowflake. Not 18747.

[–] SarcasticMan@lemmy.world 15 points 3 weeks ago

Big little bitch energy

[–] meathorse@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

No Donald, it was a joke, you just don't get it. But even even if it wasn't a joke, he didn't mean it. But even if he did mean it, it won't really happen.

He's never even heard of 86 and has nothing to do with it

[–] rc__buggy@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 weeks ago

Never even been in an actual "bar", never been in a kitchen he wasn't passing through.

[–] rc__buggy@sh.itjust.works 11 points 3 weeks ago

These fucking assholes. I've been 86'd and the bartenders never tried to kill me.

[–] yesman@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Before we argue over what eighty six means, let's remember that It's perfectly legal to call for the assassination of a President.

[–] entwine413@lemm.ee 11 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) (4 children)

It's not, though. That's speech intended to incite lawless action, which is one of the few times free speech can be constitutionally restricted.

But yeah, 86 in this instance probably means impeachment.

[–] Typotyper@sh.itjust.works 17 points 3 weeks ago

It’s only restricted for the democrats. The other guys post your address and nothing is said

[–] yesman@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

How do you explain the continued freedom of Kathy Griffith?

collapsed inline media

[–] entwine413@lemm.ee 6 points 3 weeks ago

She claims to be a comedian.

[–] rc__buggy@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 weeks ago

I'm of the opinion we should 86 him from the country. I would refuse service and remove him from the premises. Let him go to UAE and stay the rest of his days.

Banishment

[–] Thomrade@lemm.ee 2 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Every bodies talking about 86 46, but what about 64 46? that's my number.

[–] Gaboose@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Glad to see I’m not the only one who made a song joke here

[–] Gaboose@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

7-5309 is much more worried now

[–] Robotsandstuff@lemmy.world 0 points 3 weeks ago

Clearly he needs killing what's the issue you have freedom of speech the day he's killed the world will be a little better but his mates will use it as a excuse to take what's left of your rights you need to kill all of them
