Congress doesn't seem to care. Amd the people aren't letting congress know their displeasure, so, uh, it's what the American people want?

It's like pushing a button that you think is hurting the guy on the other side of the table, only to look under the table and realize the wires aren't connected to anything and they were just having you on.

Welp. Time to ramp up those energy prices then...

Yeah, but a war is happening half a world away and my feels is hurt. I think I'll sit it out in protest. Damn the parties for not fielding credible candidates!

Don't be ridiculous. The maids here (we call them domestic helpers) are from other asean countries in the region. Plenty of local girls to go around for an expat paedo to grope. Foreigner worship and scoring an expat mate is a thing here.

/s (not really)

I will not be surprised if the mailer was formatted in excel because these idiots don't know how to use word tables, then manually copypastaed from a internal web page because they don't mail merge.

The goods are overpriced and undergood. People buy them for clout, not for quality or performance. This has been true for a while now. Unless you're talking weapons systems.

Complacency. What you said makes perfect sense, then the complacency of the voter bloc who thought it ok to sit it out because they saw an easy win. I mean no one could be that dumb twice, right?

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

They didn't expect the voters to be that dumb, twice.

Narrator: indeed they were

No shit. Like seo meddling with search. What one man creates, another will exploit.

My country produced such luminaries as Alex yoong, backed by lottery money. The govt of the time thought he was a marketable face and pushed him as a symbol of national achievement. The result? A three second gap in qualifying to a certain Alonso guy.

Plus, only one guy in recent memory literally bought a team so his son could have a go.

Or is it that the victims pest warning system is currently winning the biological arms race, in which case how are mosquitoes able to successfully reproduce? Or is it that mosquitoes have evolved such that their spawning numbers offset the difficulty they have biting?

Biology is hard.
