American 'monarch' will be selling you cheap Chinese goods with his name on it while yelling at brown people.

If you highlight the image, Ctrl c, Ctrl v, you'll see an image of a president allegedly raping a little kid.

Wait until the nonvoting Dem side tells you voting for Kamala was only about 'toeing the party line' and not about 'stopping a literal rapist from taking office and raping the country'. Duhh... I has a brain, don't tell me what to do.

Waiting on 'common sense' from these fools is futule. But hey, at least we saved Gaza, right? 2028 is gonna be 2024 all over again, with more bots, tankies and their ai.

I chuckled when they mentioned the govt payout was being appealed on grounds of 'universal justice', i.e. my god versus your god. My country is indeed the bozo country.

Enjoy the next 3 then. It's not even what I'm implying. In fact, I'm positive you will - the fact that the two comments above sound the same tell me all I need to know.

At least flip your scripts once in a while.

Ok, I'll take the non raping, non narcissist, non child abusing, non twice impeached, non trying to save his fat lardy ass, non looking to use the office to take revenge on anyone and anything he disagrees with one, thanks.

People still doubling down on their actions in 24, not acknowledging that those very actions led to the orange idiot being elected. Again.

As long as there is no acknowledgement, we can expect a repeat of the very same in 28, possibly with the literal devil on the other side, while the voters smugly criticize the minutae of the more sensible candidate and sit it out.

Sometimes you put yourself aside in the interest of the country.

Carving. You just need a knife and something to carve. I've tried wood, chalk, sandstone (very soft rock I picked up on a beach), soap, florists sponge, etc.

Edit: actually you don't even need the knife. The chalk and sandstone I used stationery to work the medium.

Yes, so wouldn't my question about cooling be valid, unless they plan on running the reactor only half of the time?

Stephen probably said something true about him.

People who voted an idiot into an office regret voting for said idiot. IOW, tuesday in America.

All this. All the replies, all the posts. Just bots arguing with one another, triggering you 'juuust enough' to engage and reinforce your bias with a dopamine shot, so you continue to read and get enraged some more. At this point you can't even tell which is a person and which is not any more. All for the amusement of a few powerful elites in control of the algorithm.

Are we really so placated, hopeless and in need for edification that we continue to participate, with no real translation to real world personal development and action?

Would like to filter out some domains beyond the AdBlock lists. Any help/ recommendations much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Asking because I just sat through a family feud within earshot at a local coffee joint. Parents giving advice to son, who looked 30ish, all quite civil, full of the 'can I speak for a minute', 'your minute is up' and so on, with some 'when we were your age' and 'you must/ will learn' etc. Mum ended with 'i don't have to justify anything to you'.

My dad stopped once I got out of high school, but mum seems to chime in from time to time. I'm well into my middle age.

When should parents stop parenting and just let the kid fail/ thrive on their own? I just feel sometimes the parents are the problem, regardless of good intentions.

I've always been curious how fascism takes hold, and how people like Hitler, Stalin. etc rise to power. Do people not see what is happening? Shouldn't hindsight, foresight and common sense kick in at some point? I used t think they were like mob bosses early on - anyone disagreeing with them ends up in a barrel, but surely were civilized and educated by now?

It seems the people don't want to jeopardize their comfortable livelihoods and individual lives so expect the 'powerful elected officials' to do their bidding. After all, the public gave them the power to do just that. Otoh, the politicians don't want to jeopardize their cushy jobs and accumulated power by challenging the majority, so are waiting for the public to start a jan6 situation so they can point and say, 'see, the people are unhappy so we should act'.

It's a shitstorm of no consequences and a man child hacking away at the country and no one seems to be doing anything meaningful. I'm literally watching fascism take place.

History/ psychology/ sociology majors care to chime in?

Has the system finally cracked? Have the wealthy and powerful simply taken so much leaving the rest of us grasping at our very survival, easily manipulated into turning against other groups and even each other in an attempt to make sense of it all? Is society destined to destroy itself or descend into eternal servitude to our masters? How do we get out of this spiral of madness?

Or is it that the victims pest warning system is currently winning the biological arms race, in which case how are mosquitoes able to successfully reproduce? Or is it that mosquitoes have evolved such that their spawning numbers offset the difficulty they have biting?

Biology is hard.
