Reality has a liberal bias.

The Onion can't compete with this

[–] oxysis@lemmy.blahaj.zone 15 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The poor Onion can only tell actual news stories now

I'd love it if they just went like "man walks nude in white house" and then show a picture of some guy walking around in a white house, focussing on the headline instead of the body of the text

I for one like The Emperor's new clothes.

Of course Science has a partisan stance .... it stands for the search for the truth and changing your perceptions according to new truths you find or in disproving truths you thought were valid

None of it is based on how you feel about anything .... no matter how wealthy, powerful, religious or intelligent you think you are

Science is controversial to fascist.

They want scientific journals to get behind RFK Jr.'s bogus nonsense.

[–] cybervseas@lemmy.world 16 points 1 week ago

Truth is partisan.

"Your liberal science is too biased against what conservatives want to believe, we will only accept Fox News validated results as Honest Truth™®®"

[–] BrokenGlepnir@lemmy.world 13 points 1 week ago

Politicians built the partisan stances around the science. It's not sciences fault

[–] catloaf@lemm.ee 9 points 1 week ago

Truth is only partisan if you depart from truth.

Science is liberal now. Kill us

All you have to do is prove them wrong. Why can't you prove them wrong?

Academic journals disagree with the forced sterilisation of neurodivergent people. Got it, thanks RFKjr.

Science makes Canada even better. America scientists: move to Canada!! We’re way nicer and have universal health care and working human rights eh.

[–] corsicanguppy@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago

Admit it: we're being selfish. IF we get more smart people fleeing America who then move to Canada, that could sway voting in key ridings and prevent more anti-science platforms succeeding.

It does seem really biased that the vast majority of articles in these academic journals are written by people with IQs greater than 60.
