Two things:
Whether it has begun or we're in the proceeding stages doesn't really matter but I agree, it is obvious the fault lies with this administration.
Unfortunately, the thing is, those with the ability to actually form a fighting force right now significant enough to launch an attack against the federal government have been in positions where they stand to lose a lot for a while now. Furthermore, if they're not remorseless bastards corrupted by their power, they have to consider the unknowable escalation of violence that they would be calling for. Trump (read: Project 2025 conspirators) have access to the US military arsenal, at least for the time being, but I can't see them losing anymore than an insignificant portion if it came down to it because of the loyalists in the military.
With all that being said, America has cancer, and we're getting in the later stages. It is going to kill us if we don't do anything, but it's so spread that there is significant risk treating it could kill us faster.
Like I said before, he should do it.
