If he wants to expand his power, and I think that he does, he'll need the military to support him. This is how you get them to resent you. Its not a stretch to imagine orders just not being followed, at some point.
Hopefully Trump overplays his hand eventually being forced to resign.

American here: I don't want anybody as a president. As it stands though we know what's going to happen if Trump stays in power. Personally I'd prefer a sketchy dice roll with Vance maybe we'll get lucky and it will be slightly less bad, plus there's a destabilizing factor when a cult leader falls maybe we can get lucky with magats getting disorganized
Between Vance and Miller we are throughly fucked if Trump is in office or not. Trump is a tightly controlled senile narcissist who is being let off the leash to cause as much chaos as possible because both Miller and Vance are looking for a civil war. Who ever the president is doesn’t really matter in my opinion, Vance and Miller will get the job done no matter what

I don't know the details, but it feels like Vance is standing by. Dude got a shimmer in his eyes when someone suggested Trump resign so that he could become president. Part of me thinks the reason Trump is flying off the handle is that they want him replaced and finally take the bull by the balls.
I mean Vance is capable of being a normal dude as shown with his mostly civil debate with Tim Walz.
Yeah, although he's also incredibly fake. I just saw a video of him lying about when he supposedly changed his mind on Trump after he called him America's Hitler in 2016. Now he's doing Hitler-like things, and he's chill with that.

That's crazy. When you read taow, you're like "ok yes maybe 'feed your troops' was at the time not a very well followed tactic but surely this is obsolete in the modern age" and it turns out that no, it isn't and most modern military failures are due to precisely this
