Yeah not sure why you're being downvoted, I think people just assume you're the person I replied to originally and just downvote without reading.
I Don't see downvotes lol.
I suspect it is because as other commentors mention is this poses risks for Trans people outing themselves. I see gender neutral bathrooms regularly at events and not just 1 stall either. So I hardly consider this a controversial take especially when the existing rules lead to jail time if you follow or dont follow it.
