The bastards are complaining that we stole their idea, but this game can be played by both sides :)

But yes, Russians have been attempting to use road nets for at least 3-6 months or so that I am aware of. It made the news recently because Ukraine started using them.

Once any kind of hole is in the net, it's basically game over until it's repaired. Drones, as you would expect, can navigate some really small spaces. This would be a bit more problematic for drones that are controlled with fine fiber optic lines.
