If you think Skum is out, then you are deluding yourself. He was there on the Middle East Corruption Tour, he was there at the meeting with the South African Premier, he's been present at every other important event.

He's just keeping a low profile because his board tore him up after that disastrous earnings call. They are trying to stave off a shareholder lawsuit over him irreparably destroying Tesla's brand image with his irresponsible behavior, so they told him to settle down, or be replaced.

He's still involved, they're just keeping him under the radar.
