It's alive and well (and very bloody) in both African countries as well as Asian. Hell, we can throw in the Arabs as well. Religion is fascist by It's very nature.

Basically every part of the world has or have had it share of dictators, warlords and other such fascist overlords.

It's by no means exclusive to any people, ethnicity or even form of rule. Humanity is just rife with shitheads.
