These fucking government ghouls man. I wish all the best for his family, their safety and his safe return. I wish nothing but the worst on this administration, and especially towards ICE agents filling out orders without attention to constitutional rights of the people. I know there isnt shit for retaliation now, but i know in the future we will watch these monsters fucking burn for what theyve done and who they are. Im so disappointed in my country.

Since the constitution, rule of law, and political convention mean absolutely nothing now, maybe in the future some US government will take a page out of the Republicans own playbook and use it against them. Round up and imprison every last one of the bastards.

As tasty as that revenge sounds I dont think i like the idea of any powers that be abusing it for that. No need perpetuating more mistakes from history. And im not saying there shouldnt be some kind of justice, because there absolutely should be. However, we shouldnt punish the inhumane barbarically if we claim to be on the side of the humane.

Failing to do this after the civil war is the reason we have had some version of this problem for the last 150 years. The fact that this was done in Germany after WW2 is the reason why they haven't had this problem since. If we as a society just wag out fingers and tut and say everyone back to their corner, they will just take power some other way in short order and continue carrying out their plans. Paradox of tolerance, I'm afraid.
