Iโve worked in IT and the worst I ever came across was basically Ron Swanson with a temper. Hardly a psychopath.
Maybe its a regional thing!
Iโm in Ohio. Our leading export is serial killers.
About 9/10 of my coworkers are definitely not psychopaths. The last one though...
The sample size is about 150 pure devs if that matters.
I've heard 1/10 people of every workforce are psychopaths, but I work with 9 other people and none of them are psychopaths. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

They usually promote that last one to management too.
I have indeed, and yes, a lot of devs are a bit shady, but this doesn't mean that they shouldn't be called out...
