I understand people like free stuff but how does it not immediately draw comparison to drug dealers giving out testers for free. When is free shit ever not nefarious?

Even on one of epics own games, Rocket League, the experience is far better on Steam if you were lucky enough to buy it when it was still listed there. Epic launcher is a piece of hot garbage, and the free game aren't worth it to me. I also wonder if there are other consequences to this pricing model, similar to concerns about gamepads.
Before the internet there were still people who thought their stuff was worth more than it was. I do feel like garage sales in general though have declined so thats a bummer.
You should use a third party password manager. You can still add extensions to librewolf.
All bottling means is that you are choosing when to deal with something. I agree it isn't negative on its own.
Would you argue for bottling things up indefinitely in some situations?
The people commenting on here are unhinged. Clearly a lot of "I was treated poorly by my boss so you should deal with it too" energy.
I saw someone imply it couldn't be bad unless you were being physically threatened with a knife at work. Ive seen people say you should just say how you feel when you feel it, but that won't change the main problem here which is that its not okay for a supervisor to treat people poorly.
Nothing you change about yourself will change your supervisor. People quit managers not jobs, in most cases. It wouldnt be unreasonable to look for other work or to request a change in supervisor/team.
I'm not sure why you are getting down voted so hard for this. You are describing a very direct awful relationship thats unavoidable. Sort of like an abusive parent.
I would advise you try to find another job, or if you can move laterally in the company that might get you to a different supervisor.
Also, your supervisor can go fuck themselves in their own face.
Are you arguing they should have built a test that makes AI perform better? How are you offended on behalf of AI?
Its not hard to maintain those requirements though. Sure its used to mislabel positions like you say, but plenty of correctly labelled positions are abused as well. Salary means extra work with no pay regardless of whether you meet the requirements.
You need to read about how salary positions work in the states. Its entirely legal to fire someone who's on salary for refusing to volunteer extra unpaid time. They also aren't owed overtime in a lot of cases although there was law passed that limits that to only affecting higher earning people.
Salary workers are exempt from overtime in most cases and its legal to fire them for not working extra hours voluntarily, at least in America.
If steam goes down they aren't going to mass delete everyone's libraries. I'll still have terabytes of games that just need a crack now.
