I love how everyone is assuming that anon is saying that's why not to have an elven waifu. So wholesome.
Being a 4chan post, there's a pretty big chance that this is someone explaining why they get off to elven waifus.
Alternatively, it's 4Chan so the odds the OP this post was responding to was asking "Why wouldn't you want a Hot Elven Waifu?" are also pretty high specifically because of the "I could have a Legal Loli Waifu" angle.
This post is about Marcille's motivation in Dungeon Meshi. Like this is literally her reason for going into the dungeon, she wants to learn how to unify the races' lifespans so that she won't be forced to outlive the people she loves
