YouTube in general taking over all answers on the web. I'd much rather just read the answer than have to go through a 10 min video.
But on that topic...
I respect the few YouTube folks out there that write a blog post (on their own website!) for each video. The text based web has always been the ultimate reference.

"Wait till the end" tells me to open the progress bar and jump straight to the end
This. So happy it's not just me xD
While Youtube is not ideal, the web has been serving slop long before AI came around due to search engine optimization. No one trusts anything they find there and it also has the same issue with dancing around the topic.
Of course Youtube is now getting filled with AI crap as well so I don’t know where to go next…
But yes I agree that I prefer text based info. For me it’s especially annoying when I find recipes on Youtube and there is no accompanying website for it.
