What did you switch to, prey tell?
Probably a fork of Firefox that can only survive as a side effect of the Mozilla engineering team's constant efforts.
Or a Chromium based browser.
Are there any other viable options?
Right now not really. Ladybird is coming next year and I'm hopeful for
