That is ignoring the fact that the sky and grass are objective realities. “Politics” is all subjective. These are not the same thing, and your comparison is disingenuous and cynical.
True, you cannot avoid politics if you interact with others, hell, the family itself is the very first political unit. However, politics in the sense of news and elections is not the same, and is entirely avoidable.
