These jokes are in poor taste. The joke is basically "Trump gay, haha". How is that not simple homophobia? I mean I despise the POS, but using "gay" as a pejorative is commonplace bigotry. There's no shortage of legitimate criticisms, so why stoop to this?
It's not about homosexuality being wrong. It's about the hypocrisy of the Trump's treatment of sexual minorities.
And let's not forget that it was Clinton who signed an order to eject non-closeted homosexuals from the military.
It also feels more about submission to me than a joke about homosexuality. When regular people hook up or are in a relationship it doesn't seem like submissive act but between two powerful men it does.
It's only homophobia if you think being gay is bad.

why would you make fun of someone for something, if at some level, you didn’t believe that thing to be something one should be made fun of?

I'm saying that him being good or bad is not affected by any conestual blowing he may have done.
There's plenty of stuff that actually makes him a bad guy.
I have contempt for Trump over a lot of things, but being gay isn't one of them, whether or not it's implied by circumstances.
But I do enjoy that Trump loathes being thought of as potentially gay, even though I imagine he'd fuck anything, including flags and his own daughter.
PS: Stormy Danials spanked Trump with a magazine, so he does have submissive bones in his body; at least a few.
The humor is the same font from which all the Tinder jokes are made: it's not that they're gay, but they've collectively dug a hole in which they have to hide it and slink away when the evidence reveals itself.
All that said, I think the blow Bubba comment was more likely a reference to prison sex which is situational. For some reason, we have an archetype of a scary black man named Bubba who is in -- and often runs -- maximum-security penitentiaries.

Every time I point this out I receive a deluge of hate. You are right though.
They seem to be arguing its ok to weaponize homophobic bigotry against someone who is themselves a bigot. But I simply don't agree. That's like saying it's ok to be racist against a black person simply because they are homophobic. Or that it's ok to be homophobic towards closeted people. IMO either it's wrong to use "gay" as a slur or it's not. And just because its a commonplace slur, and most straight people don't seem to think about, or care, about it's psychological impact on gay folk, doesn't mean it's suddenly ok to use just because its politically expedient.
But where’s the bigotry or value judgement in the meme?
Brokeback Mountain is essentially a love story, and this is clearly a photoshop homage to that - albeit used to needle Trump’s and his follower’s insecurities and/or homophobia. Which is entirely their issue to grapple with, absent the faces this is an otherwise entirely mundane and not at all obscene image.
If the image had Trump dressed in a ultra-gay stereotype like neon hair, rollerblades, short-shorts, and a “Got Dick?” crop top, you’d have more of a point. But there are, have been, and will be gay cowboys.
Is it not just funny to say that trump, who ran on locking up Hilary, may have performed fellatio on her husband?
