Best politician in the US right now.

By a fucking mile. His talent and skillful charisma is impressive enough, but the fact that he actually has a spine and soul is damn near unbelievable

It's insane that he is probably the most exciting candidate the democrats have had in a while and had a ton of support yet Jeffries and Schumer won't endorse him. Both democratic leadership, both fellow New York politicians... Just shows that the DNC doesn't care about the working class and needs to be gutted. They should be embracing Mamdani and capitalizing on the excitement around him.

Jeffries endorsed him last week. Jeffries is still a worthless corporate shill, but he did finally endorse Mamdani.

Wow, that's good. Better late than never I suppose. He still showed his hand and that he needs to be replaced. I'm betting he only endorsed Mamdani because enough people were pointing how bad it looked that leadership hadn't done it yet.

Whatever his reasons may be, it's absolutely guaranteed that they're self serving. One of the reasons that Mamdani freaks out the establishment to such a degree is that there is just an immediately noticeable difference between himself and the politician status quo.

Every move they make against him just makes him look better and more human. It's refreshing to watch.

How long are NYC mayor terms? Can he do 2028 Presidential run?

[–] jjjalljs@ttrpg.network 7 points 1 day ago

I don't think he can be president rules as written because he was born in Kampala, Uganda
