We all forgot after we had daily 9/11 death totals from COVID for the better part of a year.
IF we coulda bombed someone about Covid we woulda.
We could have. Then maybe we wouldn't be in our predicament. Also, it would be weird to bomb yourself.
I really thought this was gonna be a "China bad" comment
Turns out it almost certainly came from a lab In Wuhan China, that is barely even a conspiracy theory anymore just politically uncomfortable soooo, we could have if we wanted to and we didn't...
The problem with framing it as "it came from a lab in Wuhan", makes it sound like the likely explenation is that it was designed in a lab by scientists as a bioweapon. In reality, IF it came from a lab which isn't, and probably never will be proven, it would be as a containment failure by scientists researching the very natural and non-human-made virus.
While both of those scenarios can be summed up as "came from a lab", they are very very different, and idiots tend to belive the virus was a chinese made bioweapon, instead of a chinese accident without any intended mallice.
The problem was the many safety failures and the fact that it might not have been genetically engineered but released as a test that couldn't be tracked back to them.
