The problem with framing it as "it came from a lab in Wuhan", makes it sound like the likely explenation is that it was designed in a lab by scientists as a bioweapon. In reality, IF it came from a lab which isn't, and probably never will be proven, it would be as a containment failure by scientists researching the very natural and non-human-made virus.

While both of those scenarios can be summed up as "came from a lab", they are very very different, and idiots tend to belive the virus was a chinese made bioweapon, instead of a chinese accident without any intended mallice.

The problem was the many safety failures and the fact that it might not have been genetically engineered but released as a test that couldn't be tracked back to them.
