I put official in quotation marks for a reason. To my knowledge, any character or timeline changes within STO are considered Beta canon. Was mostly just amused that the instance involved Kirk.
Was the story put into the game by the devs or was it just something some random person wrote? It looks like the latter to me
there used to be system in sto where people could create their own stories, unofficial "missions" for their friends to play, but that system was slashed long time ago. whatever is is STO now was put there by the devs.
