What he said was true. You drive cars and there are accidents and intentional homicides regularly. Why aren't you fighting to get cars off the streets? Kids die from alcohol poisoning. Let's get rid of alcohol. Use your brains, people. #liberal

So the big argument is cars and alcohol? Brilliant. Because when was the last time someone walked into a classroom holding a Toyota Corolla in one hand and a bottle of vodka in the other?

Cars exist to get people from point A to point B. Alcohol exists to drink. Guns exist to kill. That is the design. Pretending they are all the same is a false equivalence.

We also happen to lead the world in school shootings and active shooters. Canada, which looks a whole lot like us culturally and legally, manages fewer gun deaths per capita. Maybe the problem is not cars or booze. Maybe the problem is metal health. Because guns at the end of the day are just tools used by humans.

@mechoman444 Guns do more than kill. They are used for sport as well. But I would agree that killing is their main purpose. They are simply tools. People use all manner of tools to kill people. I would rather address the hatred and desire to kill. Then the tools would not be used.

@mechoman444 I would love to see some evidence that Charlie Kirk ever had one person admitted to an asylum. Show me one admittance form with his name on it. You might find some videos where he claimed those people were mentally ill. I believe he honestly felt that they were and had more concern for their mental well-being than you do.

I don’t believe that agreement and tolerance are always healthy. There are things we should stand against that society accepts. That isn’t hate. #lie

Your prose comes across as deliberately nice and tolerant, but that only highlights how shaky your stance is. You frame "tolerance" as though it excuses supporting Charlie Kirk. It doesn't. Using tolerance to shield a bigot and a racist is not a virtue, it's complicity.

Opposing Kirk's rhetoric isn't hatred. It's simply refusing to let prejudice masquerade as principle.

Also, to be clear I never ment that charlie Kirk ever admitted or had someone committed to a facility. But he is on record saying that homeless people and transgenders should all be committed to mental health facilities.

@mechoman444 If he is "on record" with statements about committing people to institutions, please share some links and I will be happy to read them. I might agree or disagree depending on the information provided.

My "prose" is just the way I speak. I don't care if you find me tolerant or not. Tolerance is not something I strive for, nor is hatred or bigotry.

I would submit that Kirk's commentary and opinions are no more hatred and vitriol than your own. You are just on opposite sides. #truth
