Pretty sure this guy gets it. Thats the message. Helldivers 2 is the fiction where the fascism belongs.

Agreed, otherwise why wear this uniform with this statement. Real fascists have real uniforms for the real world.

A t-shirt and jeans. Like most of the fascists I've met. And most of the normal people I've met too. Facism doesn't often wear a uniform. But when it does, it's too late.

I sometimes fear that
people think that fascism arrives in fancy dress
worn by grotesques and monsters
as played out in endless re-runs of the Nazis.

Fascism arrives as your friend.
It will restore your honour,
make you feel proud,
protect your house,
give you a job,
clean up the neighbourhood,
remind you of how great you once were,
clear out the venal and the corrupt,
remove anything you feel is unlike you...

It doesn't walk in saying,
"Our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."

I was more referring to white ski masks, white robes, punisher shirts, and worst of all, a suit

Ah see, most fascists don't wear those. Those ones are the ones where it's too late. My point stands

May you never have to deal with the common fascist, only the comically evil ones.
