And that’s basically it!
Britain with no irony: "You can't come to a land and act like its yours! We were living here first!"
Well ... Do they have a flag?
People living in public woods is okay because colonialism, thanks Lemmy
Did you actually just say that with no irony? The "western" world lives in relative luxury because of continued exploitation of the global south.

Where do you think your cheap clothes, devices, food, energy, transportation, etc. comes from? Today’s globalism is a direct descendant of colonialism. In fact, many people even call it neo-colonialism.
I agree with almost everything you say, except you are ignoring that capital bribes workers in the imperial core with a superior quality of life to maintain a compliant populace to provide a bulwark against the “slavering masses.”
It sounds like you’re anti capitalist and fairly well educated, but it’s a straight up lie to say that capitalism hasn’t increased quality of life for imperial core workers over that of global south.
Will the British Museum Ever Return These Stolen Artifacts?
You keep harping on about impoverished Brits as if the poorest Brits aren’t still more wealthy than 90% of the world’s inhabitants.
Like I get it, life is hard for poor people everywhere, but everyone in the imperial core benefits from western dominance. I’d much rather be poor in London than in Mumbai.
You don’t need to benefit to still have it better than the people it was stolen from.
Someone else getting knocked down leaves them worse off even if it doesn’t improve your situation.
