I'm not religious in the slightest, but neither is their darling angel that they worship. He doesn't even know what the inside of a church looks like.

That's because they're vague political slander that will broadly apply to any vain and greedy populist type.

Meh. Getting chipped on the ear hardly counts as "as it were wounded to death". Getting an ear chopped off was a normal Tuesday back then. Unless we're counting infections? :)

I mean the weapon used would have wounded if it had actually been close enough to have chipped his ear, but I take your point.

Any generic head injury? If anything it's an argument against it because a nicked ear is a stretch even by biblical cope standards.

"And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

My interpretation was that everyone saw him take a shot to the head from an AR-15, which should have been fatal, but somehow, and defying all physics, he came out with only a small cut on his ear that healed perfectly inside of a week.

Sure, to anyone paying attention to the details it is obvious what really happened, but to someone who believes predictions made by The Bible it seems quite fitting.
