I'm just wondering is "delulu" slang for "delusional"? Like was the real word that hard to spell?

I think it's short for "the lulu" which is a cutesy name for the Lusitania, meaning they feel like they have been sunk.

Sometimes words evolved for the spelling, sometimes for the sounds.

I think in this case it was for the fun sound, especially given it arose through tiktok communities.
